Strategic Elements Ltd (ASX:SOR) is Australia’s only listed Pooled Development Fund actively funding and developing projects in the materials sector.

We provide investors with large potential upside through our chosen strategy. This includes the generation of projects in territories with large-scale potential, low political risk and where modern exploration techniques have yet to be applied. We target multi-commodity assets with exposure to rare and precious metals. This includes rare earths, tungsten, gold and silver.

Shareholders in our Company pay no tax on capital gains or income from the Company, a result of our registration with the Federal Government as a Pooled Development Fund. 26 April 2012 – The Reefton South project is aiming to make a new gold discovery under cover and along strike from the Reefton goldfield, South Island New Zealand. Strategic Elements Ltd is pleased to announce that it has substantially extended the area of the Reefton South project. The project is located 3km along strike from the prolific Reefton goldfield, which historically produced approx. 2,100,000 ounces of gold. (more)
24 April 2012 – Strategic Elements Ltd is pleased to announce that Strategic Materials Pty Ltd (100% owned) has completed its initial phase of work at the Hohonu rare earths prospect. A preliminary visit to the Falls Creek tungsten prospect was also made. (more)
